Aims of the Education Package

The aim of this work is to help inform young people about the futility of violence in our streets. We want young people to stand up and say 'We don't accept it as normal on a night out to see fights and people so drunk they don't know what they are doing or who they are hurting.' There have been too many young people killed in our streets in recent years and mostly it is all about nothing. This education pack will encourage young people to think about the youth culture of today. It will enable them to discuss how

• their actions can have an impact
• they are the ones who can change things
• peer pressure can be used in a very positive way
