EVENTS 2011

Already this year we have had a number of events that have raised money for the Charity. In February, Jamie did the Blackpool Half Marathon and raised £110. It was his first Half Marathon and he did a very resepecatble time of 2hrs 2mins.

In April, Ged did the London Marathon and raised a fantastic £800. He had tremendous support from Darwen Dashers, Darwen Masters, his church community and his customers at Johnson's Swimming School

In May, Pat and Jamie did the Manchester 10k and raised £300

The training plan for Pat started a bit late but at least she managed to get round. She is doing the York 10k at the end of July and is hoping to do better than the 71minutes for Manchester.

Events and Fundraising up to 2011

When people made donations after Adam's Funeral we initially raised £1390. We are now on Just Giving which is a good way to collect sponsorship money for events.
